For over twenty years, Kathleen has defended lawyers and law firms in actions throughout California for legal malpractice, malicious prosecution, defamation, and in disciplinary proceedings and related matters. The State Bar of California certified Kathleen as a Legal Malpractice Specialist and appointed her to the State Bar Legal Malpractice Law Advisory Committee. Kathleen also focuses on representing judges in proceedings before the California Commission on Judicial Performance. Further, she defends employers facing harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination claims.

Kathleen is an experienced trial lawyer and recognized authority on lawyers’ and judges’ professional liability law. She was named a “Northern California Super Lawyer” in Professional Liability Defense in 2006-2011 and one of the Best Lawyers in America (2010 and 2011 editions) practicing in the Legal Malpractice Specialty. Kathleen has chaired the Legal Malpractice Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and Co-Chaired various ABA committees relating to lawyers’ professional liability and litigation.
