David McMonigle defends and counsels California attorneys, law firms, design professionals and other professional service providers. Mr. McMonigle’s experience representing lawyers includes risk management counseling, handling matters before the State Bar of California, and litigation defense. In his defense of attorney clients, Mr. McMonigle has handled attorney-client fee disputes, partnership disagreements, and all aspects of litigation defense, including participation in binding arbitration jury trial and assisting with a jury trial to verdict.

Mr. McMonigle has substantial experience counseling the California Judiciary and regularly defends individual judges before the Commission on Judicial Performance.

Mr. McMonigle also defends design professionals from claims of professional negligence in construction defect and delay matters and has expertise counseling clients regarding the current state of contractual indemnity obligations in California.
