
Darra Cohen is an associate in Long & Levit’s professional liability and employment practice groups. Ms. Cohen is a highly effective advocate with experience representing and advising clients in a variety of high-stakes and high-visibility matters. She brings her passion, attention to detail, and zealous advocacy to every matter.
Prior to joining Long & Levit, Ms. Cohenpracticed public entity and business defense litigation. Ms. Cohen has handled all stages of motion practice, including drafting and successfully arguing critical motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. Ms. Cohen has extensive experience addressing complex issues in both litigation and through various forms of alternate dispute resolution.
While in law school, Ms. Cohen worked for several early-stage startups and Fortune 500 corporations and, via internships, gained experience in professional liability, compliance, employment, and intellectual property issues facing employees and employers. In addition, Ms. Cohen received a CALI Excellence for Future Award for her work in Santa Clara University’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic.
