Long & Levit is proud to announce that Joe McMonigle has been elected to the officer ranks of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”). Joe was invited to join ABOTA in 1999. To be considered for membership in ABOTA at that time, an attorney had to have first-chaired at least twenty jury trials to verdict.
The primary purpose of ABOTA is the preservation of the civil jury trial. Membership is by invitation to a select group of attorneys who, in addition to having the requisite jury trial experience, also display skill, civility, integrity and a commitment to helping young attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy.
As a firm of trial lawyers, we congratulate Joe on his election to the ABOTA officer ranks. We also thank Joe for his many years of mentorship, which has been instrumental to Long & Levit’s continuing status as one of California’s preeminent trial law firms.
