KATHLEEN M. EWINS

PARTNER

Ms. Ewins emphasizes the defense of lawyers in professional liability litigation, trials, and appeals. For over 16 years, she has defended numerous lawyers and local, regional, and national law firms in actions throughout California for legal malpractice, malicious prosecution, defamation, disciplinary proceedings, and related matters in a broad range of substantive areas. She also has an active practice representing judges in proceedings before the California Commission On Judicial Performance.

Ms. Ewins was named a "Northern California Super Lawyer" in Professional Liability Defense, by Law & Politics Magazine in 2006 and 2007. 

Ms. Ewins also defends law firms and employers in employment and sexual harassment actions and provides counsel regarding risk management and loss prevention.
