KAREN L. UNO

Ms. Uno's practice emphasizes the representation of insurers in a broad range of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters. She specializes in liability and first-party property coverage analysis for commercial and personal line carriers. She advises insurers on coverage, claims handling, agency relationship issues and represents carriers in bad faith and coverage litigation. Ms. Uno has also assisted insurers with policy forms, product development and underwriting procedures. 

She has presented numerous programs to legal, claims and underwriting professionals on bad faith litigation, regulatory compliance, additional insureds and contractual indemnity coverage, cost containment, reservation of rights and reimbursement actions, personal and advertising injury coverage, insurance fraud, independent counsel, policy limit demands, and excess and umbrella coverage.
